Laura Ayres
Laura, born and raised in Brazil, discovered her passion for swimming early on, bringing a vibrant and determined spirit to everything she does. She holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Union College and an MBA in Leadership and Management from King University.
With 16 years of swimming experience, Laura specializes in freestyle events and has achieved significant milestones, including ranking among Brazil's Top 15 in the 1500m Freestyle in 2018 and being a National Finalist multiple times. In the U.S., she continued to excel, earning medals at the NAIA level and contributing to King University's success in NCAA DII.
As a coach, Laura combines her extensive swimming experience and academic background to offer technical expertise and motivational guidance. Her coaching philosophy focuses on creating a positive environment that fosters perseverance, discipline, and teamwork, aiming to develop well-rounded individuals and exceptional athletes. Laura's dedication inspires her swimmers to dream big, achieve their goals, and develop a genuine love for the sport.
